The HondaJet Echelon was announced at NBAA-BACE 2021 by Honda Aircraft Company Founder and former President, Mr. Michimasa Fujino, to the reception of a very excited crowd.  In June 2023 Honda Aircraft Company announced that it would commercialize the all-new light jet, with type certification targeted for 2028.

The HondaJet Echelon has already garnered significant anticipation within the business aviation community.  The concept aircraft boasts a game changing 2,625 nm range, crushing all other competitors in the single pilot light jet market with transcontinental range capability.  The concept aircraft features a 9 passenger cabin that can be configured in several variations. With a maximum cruise speed of 450 knots and service ceiling of FL470, the concept aircraft will deliver unparalleled performance with up to 20% better fuel efficiency than all other light jets in its class.

Critical suppliers have been selected for the HondaJet Echelon, to include Aernnova for aerostructures and components, Garmin for avionics, Spirit AeroSystems for the fuselage, and Williams International for the engines.

The cabin will be available in three different modular layouts: Executive, Dual Club, and Divan. Each setup offers ergonomic seating for up to 11 fliers, with generous legroom, headroom, and baggage space. The aircraft also has a full-height galley in front and a massive cargo hold.

“The HondaJet Echelon was born to create a new category that transcends the travel experience on conventional light jets,” Honda Aircraft Company president and CEO Hideto Yamasaki said in a statement. “Expanding mobility skyward has been Honda’s long-lasting dream, and the HondaJet Echelon marks the exciting next chapter while showcasing a classic Honda story of a product that creates new value for people.”

Honda Aircraft Company is constantly innovating, and they intend to continue that spirit with the HondaJet Echelon.  The clean sheet design aircraft will include Auto-Throttles, Spoilers, Auto Brakes, and Auto Land.  Contact us if you would like to reserve your place in line to purchase a HondaJet Echelon.  We can submit your 100% risk-free Letter of Intent directly to Honda Aircraft Company.
