HondaJet Models
Honda Aircraft Company began deliveries of the HondaJet in December of 2015, following over a decade of developing the clean sheet design aircraft. You will find that the majority of the oldest serial numbers have a delivery date starting in January of 2016. The first customer delivered serial number is 42000012. There have been numerous improvements to the aircraft including software, hardware, interior, exterior, and performance upgrades. There are currently five models of the HondaJet HA-420. The HondaJet Classic, HondaJet APMG, HondaJet Elite, HondaJet Elite S, and the HondaJet Elite II. The HondaJet Echelon has also been announced and is in development.
HondaJet
Elite S
The HondaJet Elite S is the next model of the HondaJet following the Elite, and features both avionics and performance upgrades, including a 200 pound gross weight increase. All HondaJet Elite aircraft can be upgraded to an Elite S through an Optional Service Bulletin for approximately $125,000.

Elite II
The HondaJet Elite II is the latest innovation from Honda Aircraft Company, and includes performance, avionics and interior upgrades, as well as new paint scheme options. Increased range and the added safety of Emergency Autoland distinguish the HondaJet Elite II from all other aircraft in its class.
Garmin G3000
The Garmin G3000 integrated avionics system is installed on all models of the HondaJet, but has had many upgrades and enhancements since the aircraft was certified in 2015. The software has had several updates. Some updates came as new models were introduced, and some were made available for all airplanes in the fleet. The most significant enhancements came with the introduction of the HondaJet Elite model. That included not only new features to the software, but also new hardware. The new Elite displays have a higher resolution, have faster processors, and the databases can be updated using only one SD card. The APMG upgrade also includes some of the software features the Elite, however those can now be installed on all classic models.

The first customer delivered serial number is 42000012. There have been numerous improvements to the aircraft to include software, hardware, cabin interior, and performance upgrades. The original model of the HondaJet includes serial numbers from 12 to 125.

All classic HondaJet models can be upgraded to the APMG by any HondaJet Authorized Service Center for approximately $250,000. The Advanced Performance Modification Group package includes upgrades to the performance and avionics of the aircraft that were introduced with the HondaJet Elite model. The APMG package allows for a classic HondaJet to be upgraded to some of the new features of the HondaJet Elite model. Integrated TOLD calculations and Garmin Flight Stream 510 were originally only available with the APMG upgrade or Elite models. This is now a software upgrade available for all Classic models without the APMG upgrade.

HondaJet Elite
The HondaJet Elite began deliveries in August of 2018, however all Elite models are a 2019 model or newer. The Elite models include serial numbers 126 to approximately 206. The HondaJet Elite includes all of the upgrades of the APMG package, as well as additional performance, avionics, and interior cabin features. An additional fuel tank was added to the HondaJet Elite that increases the range over the Classic and APMG models.

The HondaJet Elite S began deliveries in July of 2021, and encompasses serial numbers 207 through 234. The HondaJet Elite S model includes both performance and avionics upgrades. All HondaJet Elite aircraft have the ability to be upgraded to the "Elite S" through an Optional Service Bulletin available by Honda Aircraft Company and HondaJet Authorized Service Centers for approximately $125,000. You can also purchase many other upgrades through the Optional Service Bulletins.

HondaJet Elite II
The HondaJet Elite II is the latest innovation from Honda Aircraft Company. The Elite II builds on the advancements of the Elite S, and incorporates significant new features. Additional fuel capacity allows the Elite II to reach more destinations with an increased range of 1,547 nm. Along with the extra fuel capacity, the max takeoff weight has been increased to 11,100 lbs. allowing for more useful load. This Elite II features all new exterior paint scheme options, as well as fresh new interior cabin schemes in onyx and steel styles. Additional cabin enhancements include hardwood pattern flooring, white marble countertops, swiveling seats, and an updated LED lighting system. Pilots and passengers will also be excited about the upgraded features in the cockpit. The HondaJet Elite II will be capable of Emergency Autoland and offers Autothottles. Automatic ground spoilers have also been added to provide for better landing performance.
HondaJet Echelon
The HondaJet Echelon was announced at NBAA-BACE 2021 by Honda Aircraft Company Founder and former President, Mr. Michimasa Fujino, to the reception of a very excited crowd. In June 2023 Honda Aircraft Company announced that it would commercialize the all-new light jet, with type certification targeted for 2028.
The HondaJet Echelon has already garnered significant anticipation within the business aviation community. The concept aircraft boasts a game changing 2,625 nm range, crushing all other competitors in the single pilot light jet market with transcontinental range capability. The concept aircraft features a 9 passenger cabin that can be configured in several variations. With a maximum cruise speed of 450 knots and service ceiling of FL470, the concept aircraft will deliver unparalleled performance with up to 20% better fuel efficiency than all other light jets in its class.
Critical suppliers have been selected for the HondaJet Echelon, to include Aernnova for aerostructures and components, Garmin for avionics, Spirit AeroSystems for the fuselage, and Williams International for the engines.
